Plain-language terms for custom paintings from Florence & Form (Auresta LLC, Lakewood, NJ). Placing an order or paying a deposit means you agree to them.

Your photo

You confirm that you own the photo you send or have permission from the photographer to have it painted, and that everyone pictured (or their parent or guardian) is fine with it. Professional photographs stay with the photographer unless you have their written permission; we may ask to see it.

Deposit and payment

A deposit reserves your spot and starts the work. It is applied to the price of the canvas. The balance is due when you approve the preview, before printing. Deposits are not refundable once a preview has been sent.

Preview and revisions

You receive a preview before anything is printed. Two rounds of revisions are included. Further rounds may be billed. We will tell you before the deposit if we think a photo will not produce a good painting.

The canvas

Paintings are printed on gallery-wrapped canvas, checked in person before delivery, and hand-delivered in the Lakewood area or shipped. Canvas prices cover the canvas only; a digital file for printing elsewhere is a separate item. If a canvas arrives damaged, tell us within seven days and we will replace it.

Our work

Each painting is composed and refined by the artist using digital painting tools. Florence & Form keeps the right to show finished paintings as examples of our work unless you ask us not to when you order, which we will honor.
